It's these kinds of posts that keep a real movement from happening.

This is dodo. Ayers as an issue is like Monica Lewinski. What's the point? Obama's poll numbers keep going up and progressives are going to have to stop worrying about dumb transparent right-wing slurs and deal with the corporate sponsored and advised Obama pretty damn soon.

But if it plays out like it did during Clinton's era we'll get silent wars where thousands die and not a damn word is heard.

Ayers is a big red herring that's as much an Obama ploy as a McCain blunder. In the end, Corporatism wins.

So, play these little meaningless games. In the end - YOU LOSE!

Obama crossed paths with an ex-60's 'radical' who had reason to be one. He never killed anyone, or stole anything.

McCain dropped bombs on men, women and children from 30,000 feet and assisted in the murder of millions of innocent Vietnamese in an illegal war. Idiots think he's a war hero for that.

Then he and other corrupt senators helped their crooked pal Charles Keating (who ended up in jail) loot the Lincoln Savings & Loan, which the taxpayer had to bail out for over $ 1 billion.

The hypocrisy is stunning, but not unusual.

The only response to psychotics really is to either imprison them or kill them, or pump them full of drugs. Or take away their power. Any one of those options would be a good response to the neoconservatives and their allies.

It seems that on November 4, instead of voting for president, we should vote for which one of the candidates to kill, and which one to merely imprison. For once, I might actually vote.

McCain and Palin are ardent supports of the US genocide in Iraq and imperial slaughter in Afghanistan (along with US supported humanitarian catastrophes in Palestine, Somalia, Lebanon, etc.). And they're calling a minor league punk like Ayers a terrorist? The only kind of society in which anyone would listen to that hypocritical bullshit even for a second is a fascist one. That should mean something to people who have left any shred or vestige of human decency.

The fact that the "mainstream media" would publish these charges without noting their transcendental hypocrisy adds yet another drop to the mountain of evidence that they are in fact demented beyond the capacity for rational thought or even simple moral judgment. Is debating psychotics an exercise in futility? My answer to that is yes.

I've had to explain to people, 40 and younger, that we never called these guys terrorists - the buzz word was radicals. Of course it was just as loaded then as the labels now are.
