hmmm, most Hollywood movies are so dumb too, it is an idiocracy of films. Most Hollywood movies specially the types of movies with actors like Tom Hanks, Meg Ryan, Nicolas Cage, Winona Ryder, might not be racists, and chauvinists. However Hollywood movies have another problem too other than racism. They are classists indeed. Note how poor people are portrayed in movies, as bad, evil, dirty, etc. And rich people in the movies, middle class yuppies which is still a privilaged oppressor class in capitalism are portrayed as the good folks. You never seen Tom Hanks, Nicolas Cage, Meg Ryan, Tom Cruise, Penelope Cruz, doing the characters of poor people. These artists are a bunch of classists, just like the whole United States. Hollywood is just a mirror of USA

One other aspect that deserves a mention: The writing in this turd of a movie is laughably horrible.

In the TV ads, for instance, Sandler’s character says “Thanks, anyways!” when turning down what he think is a request for a gay date.

“Thanks, anyways!” (with the telltale “s” on the end) is a blatant Americanism. It is only uttered by illiterate meathead mallrat teenagers like Sandler and his co-”writers.”

Self-pity, self-flattery, and unthinking tribalist crapola are bad enough. A tin ear doesn’t help…

Marlon Brando, appearing on Larry king in 1996, said it best.

“Hollywood is run by Jews; it is owned by Jews, and they should have a greater sensitivity about the issue of — of people who are suffering. Because they’ve exploited — we have seen the — have seen the nigger and greaseball, we’ve seen the chink, we’ve seen the slit-eyed dangerous Jap, we have seen the wily Filipino, we’ve seen everything but we never saw the kike. i agree w. lloyd,
it is not an omen of confidence, understanding, peace/fairness loving when ashkenazic people behave like sandler.
they r desperate, extremely hateful/angry because they haven’t finished the job.
and the only people standing in their way r pals and US.
remember, to oust pals, they need permit!
