Update.
That Walmart picked Tuesday, April Fools Day to announce that it "will not seek to collect money the Shanks won in an injury lawsuit against a trucking company accident for the accident" and that "Mrs. Shank's extraordinary situation had made the company re-examine its stance," is odd, but considering Walmart initiated the case to begin with is even odder.

Well put Timber!
As well, for whom do you think the laws are made for. The CORPORATION! In just about every country that exists with these corporations, the corporations dictate how laws will be driven and hence executed. These same corporations own the corporate insurance company, the corporate trucking company, the corporate drug company, the corporate food system, the corpo................ I think you get the drift. World corporate owns your ass as well as your shit. You have no where to go and no where to hide. World Corporate makes sure that your government knows who and where you are. SSN, SIN, blah blah. Wake up because the coffee pot is burning. Oh, too late, because you forgot to replace the batteries in the smoke detector and the place has burnt to the ground and you have lost all you have worked for, as well as your job.
In God We Trust.
Most have forgotten who the real boss is!

How many of you dissidents, libertarians and other freedom-lovers are supporting WalMart? It's been my experience that many people claiming to support individual liberties and human rights make an exemption for themselves and their own "little blessings" if they can save a few cents by joining their Republican counterparts at the sweatshop trough. We seem not so much to want to end other people's exploitation as to make sure that we and our offspring are on the porch, not in the field.

WalMart, Hummers, George Bush and our occupation of Iraq are all more accurate reflections of America's character than the fairy tales taught in schools as "history."
