You lost your freedom after the colonial conflict and subsequent indebtedness for that conflict for freedom to the British Empire. Thank the bankers and those who support such. They control through controlled warfare and later controlled reparations. They control the gold of the world, whatever flavor the gold is that day, decade, century, millennium. Get with the program! I wonder as to how much the intra-Shia conflict can be portrayed as that and how much of it is an actual resistance to the puppet regime. The divisions based on religious beliefs between Sunni and Shia seem to be more religious in nature than those between Shia which seem to have a distinct class base. One wonders if religion will hold back a truly national resistance, despite the desires of those who want to transcend religion in favor of the Iraqi nation. Good piece, Ashley.
