I am talking about the White House Press corp etc. Helen Thomas is one of the few qualified news people. O'Reilly, Hannity, Beck, Olberman, etc are entertainers who will say anything to get ratings. Accuracy is sometimes boring to the average USAer. We have been dumbed down by a media culture that values junk over substance. OBL discussed Bill Blum's book in one of his videos. The demagogue O'Reilly goes on to defend and laud the fact that his nephew has joined the Army, which is perhaps an attempt to deflect from the fact that the [alleged] patriotic O'Reilly managed to mysteriously avoid being drafted while the Vietnam conflict raged on in the 1960s.
