The media in Venezuela has said he is a democratically elected leader, but Chavez also controls the media in Venezuela. As somebody who lived there for a year, I can tell you he has a high disapproval rating, and the people's voices are unfortunately silenced. The poor I worked with there also have told me through the years that their lives are changing for the worse under his regime. (Where are his oil profits going?) Can you promise that unlike him, you will respect all points of view, including those that you openly disagree with. Thanks Cindy.
