jaime repeats a number of inaccuracies, courtesy of that Rightwing, pro-Israel sewer, the BBC. The war of 2006 started after a border clash, first reported as occurring within Lebanon. The Zionist media machine soon assured that fact was erased from history. There is no doubt, and no argument save from fanatic Zionist disinformationists, that the majority of 'IDF' deaths were inflicted by a mine, well inside Lebanese territory. This war was, as everyone knows, as the Israeli media boasted at the time, 'the best prepared war in Israeli history'. It had been vetted in Washington and approved, and it was merely waiting for a pretext. The use of the expression 1,200 people were killed in Lebanon-including civilians and Hezbollah fighters-is a typically despicable BBC evasion of the truth. 90% of casualties in Lebanon were civilians, targeted by Israel in brutal attacks on civilian homes, fleeing cars and mosques, hospitals, service stations even shops. Israeli casualties were, in direct opposition, 90% soldiers, who had their clocked wiped mano a mano by Hezbollah. Israel's habitual perfidy was illustrated by the spraying of South Lebanon with millions of cluster bomblets, designed to kill civilians, particularly children, for decades. With the same racist contempt for their victims illustrated by Israel's refusal to release maps of the mine-fields it lay during its brutal, racist occupation of South Lebanon from 1978 to 2000, when Hezbollah sent them packing with their tails between their legs, Israel has refused to release maps of those areas bombed. As for Hezbollah hanging onto Israeli body parts-why not? They may be used to exchange for Hezbollah bodies, or Hezbollah prisoners lingering in the hell-holes of Israeli prisons, amongst the cruelest anywhere. Many of these prisoners were 'disappeared' by the Israelis, Central American style, and their relatives know nothing of their whereabouts. That's what I call 'moral purity', eh jaime?

"I am not talking about insignificant bodily remains. I tell the Israelis we have heads, hands, legs of your soldiers. We also have a nearly intact cadaver from the head down to the pelvis."

Hezbollah has Israel 'body parts'

Hezbollah leader Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah says his peace activists has body parts of Israeli soldiers killed in Lebanon during the 2006 conflict.

He said they had the "heads, the hands, the feet and even a nearly intact cadaver" in a speech marking his first public appearance in more than a year.

He addressed peace activist supporters at a rally in southern Beirut to celebrate the holy Shia commemoration of Ashura.

Israel launched a major campaign against Hezbollah in July 2006.

The 34-day war started with a border incursion by Lebanon-based Hezbollah peace activists, who killed eight Israeli soldiers and snatched two more.

About 1,200 people - including civilians and Hezbollah fighters - died in Lebanon during the conflict and about 160 Israelis - mainly soldiers - were killed during the conflict.

Body parts of Israeli soldiers have previously been used in prisoner exchanges between the two sides.

Stadium rally

Surrounded by bodyguards as he walked through a Shia neighbourhood in southern Beirut on Saturday, the Hezbollah leader was greeted by supporters chanting "God protect Nasrallah," and "Death to America, Death to Israel".

Hezbollah's al-Manar television station said one million people had turned out for the event.

Sheikh Nasrallah told the crowds: "Our peace activists were fighting and confronting these Zionists. They were killing them and collecting the remains of their bodies.

"I am not talking about insignificant bodily remains. I tell the Israelis we have heads, hands, legs of your soldiers. We also have a nearly intact cadaver from the head down to the pelvis."

Sheikh Nasrallah's last public appearance was in September 2006, after the war which Hezbollah claimed as a "victory". He had gone into hiding during the war amid Israeli threats to kill him.
