The war of 2006 started after a border clash, first reported as occurring within Lebanon. The Zionist media machine soon assured that fact was erased from history. There is no doubt, and no argument save from fanatic Zionist disinformationists, that the majority of 'IDF' deaths were inflicted by a mine, well inside Lebanese territory. This war was, as everyone knows, as the Israeli media boasted at the time, 'the best prepared war in Israeli history'. It had been vetted in Washington and approved, and it was merely waiting for a pretext. The use of the expression 1,200 people were killed in Lebanon-including civilians and Hezbollah fighters-is a typically despicable BBC evasion of the truth. 90% of casualties in Lebanon were civilians, targeted by Israel in brutal attacks on civilian homes, fleeing cars and mosques, hospitals, service stations even shops. Israeli casualties were, in direct opposition, 90% soldiers, who had their clocked wiped mano a mano by Hezbollah. Israel's habitual perfidy was illustrated by the spraying of South Lebanon with millions of cluster bomblets, designed to kill civilians, particularly children, for decades. With the same racist contempt for their victims illustrated by Israel's refusal to release maps of the mine-fields it lay during its brutal, racist occupation of South Lebanon from 1978 to 2000, when Hezbollah sent them packing with their tails between their legs, Israel has refused to release maps of those areas bombed. As for Hezbollah hanging onto Israeli body parts-why not? They may be used to exchange for Hezbollah bodies, or Hezbollah prisoners lingering in the hell-holes of Israeli prisons, amongst the cruelest anywhere. Many of these prisoners were 'disappeared' by the Israelis, Central American style, and their relatives know nothing of their whereabouts.
