HRW has a record of double-standards, in my opinion, even more egregious than that of Amnesty International. The 'civilized West' is always treated with comparative regard, as if all that humbug about ''Western Civilization' had some merit, rather than being self-serving and cynical hypocrisy. Israel is in every way an truly nasty state, although its citizens are freer to criticise their repulsive governing establishment than in outright despotisms like Egypt and Saudi Arabia. Where Israel does excel, however, is in self-serving and fraudulent propaganda, and the ferocity of Zionist attempts to intimidate world opinion. As our little mate jaime shows, criticism of Israeli crimes is automatically transmogrified into calls for a new 'Holocaust', and all critics of Israel become the 'new Nazis'. Contemptible, but as Goebbels recommended (no wonder they wanted him on Madison Avenue!), endlessly repeated, until the dull and ignorant accept it as the truth. Once, long ago, I was optimistic that basic decency would triumph and the Israelis would cease tormenting helpless, imprisoned people. I was wrong. Although many Israelis and other Jews realise the moral perfidy of Israeli policy, the racist supremacist diehards have simply evolved into yet more virulent types, easily equatable with other fascists, racists and colonialists of the past. The future looks exceedingly grim, as the neo-cons and their allies view the carnage from Gaza to Mogadishu, well satisfied with their work, and plot further atrocities in Pakistan and Iran. All the while the brain-dead Western public, utterly indifferent to over two million deaths amongst the 'rag-heads', already, still imagine, in their brain-washed ignorance, that it is we in the West who are under attack and it is they, the Moslem hordes, who are the aggressors. HRW like Amnesty Int, although doing some good works (as they have to to keep up their image), is and always has been since its inception an arm of the NWO. How else can we justify going in to other countries? HRW's efforts in 2002 to blame Saddam for starving Iraqis was a nice additional pretext for humanitarian intervention into that country. Now HRW single out members of Sudan's government just when the US/EU want to jump into that country. How convenient. How about Blair/Brown and Bush/Cheney, I asked HRW, how is it they don't come in for any criticism or accusations or indictments from HRW? Ermm... HRW wouldn't answer, and they've blocked my emails.
