I accompanied Carl to Iran in May. The Iranians we met were extremely friendly, gracious, and warm ... and they thanked us over and over again for coming to their country. It concerns me that Americans are being set up once again for another war, so I appreciated reading what Carl had to say. Until the American people understand they have nothing to fear from Iran, this administration will be able to put a spin on just about anything. Thank you, Carl, for breaking down the barriers of propaganda presented to us by the American media.
Peace!

A country that sells more than 60% of the world's arms has no real interest in any peace process but in the continuance of war.

And a nuclear-armed country that is driven by anachronistic, supremest religious fanaticism has no interest in an equitable two-State solution either.

The farce continues!

How anyone can even pretend there is a "Mideast peace process," let alone say it with a straight face is beyond me.
I'd bet money Noah's ark will be found first, with the Holy Grail a close second.

Israel-first Zionists want to murder the Iranians as they are murdering innocent Palestinians now.

Along with their bought US employees to do the grunt murdering, Zionists have engineered the successful murdering of more than THREE MILLION innocent Iraqi People, as we type.

Mad dog Zionists are publicly and openly screaming for the murder of innocent Iranians, now

Hilarious Clinton, bought advocate for Israel and Zionism, echoes bloodthirsty Zionist Joe Lieberman and accuses the Iranians of "killing US troops in Iraq."

The high probability that hundreds of thousands, possibly millions of Iranians, will be murdered for Zionist expansionism stares us in the face from every Zionist propaganda piece.

MSM propagandists for Zionism eliminate Zionism as a cause of the bloody murdering in front of us every day.

The system is working.

The Zionist are winning and they know it.

Carl Doerner writes...

It is important to remember Paul Wolfowitz authored the mother of such strike plans, “Rebuilding America’s Defenses (2000),” well before Cheney and Bush were selected by the Supreme Court.

One can imagine Eisenhower shouting from the grave, “I warned you!” For what has steadily grown since World War II is an American foreign policy driven by its arms industry, supplying not only its technically advanced military but also Middle East countries allied in a goal of controlling the region’s resources. Cheney and Bush have accelerated this process, and the reason the Democrats’ leadership has taken impeachment off the table is that they too embrace it. Competition with Russia and China for dwindling oil, our politicians have decided, is to be settled by projecting military force. As was the case in Iraq, planning for consequences, local and global, is not seriously considered.

This explanation once again presumes that the War in Iraq was for U.S. control of Middle East oil to maintain hegemony over rival such as Russia and China. That argument doesn't hold water. Russia has been able to grow is economy by nationalizing the oil that Yeltsen privatized. Actually the Iraq War has helped oil producers because consumers are now paying a risk dividend caused by war.

Also China is cutting oil deals with Latin America nations such as Venezuela who claims to have more reserves than Saudi Arabia. Thus Russia and China doesn't appear to be too dependent on Middle East oil as the author assumes.
