<description>What sickens me most is the blatant misrepresentation of the situation by the mainstream U.S. media. You'd get the wrong impression that Hamas and Fatah are just at each other's throat... ceaselessy. More evidence of the irrational Arabs, lashing out and fighting again.

What's missing is the context... that Hamas is more legitimate over there than Bush is over here, that Fatah was prodded for months by Israel and the State Dept. to instigate an armed battle with Hamas. The lockdown of Gaza into an open air prison, the sanctions, the arrests, the starvation and despair.
