Why not support the only anti-war candidate that voted against going into Iraq, believes in Civil Liberties, voted against the Patriot act, voted against the new Thought Crime Bill HR 1955, and is founded on principle whether you like him or not, you can trust him, Congressman Ron Paul

Yes, truly excellent article. Professor Leupp concisely sums up my own thoughts since leaving Federal employment quarter of a century ago. Cindy Sheehan's expression of pain for having so long bought into the system is indeed a maturation most people are too bewildered to achieve. Most pathetic are the veterans who return seriously damaged, but insist that it was "necessary" and "for a good cause". Perhaps it would simply be too shattering for most people to realize that all they were taught and believed in was in fact a sham that victimized them.

Excellent article. I find that most people don't want to think about vicious realities like the ones we've been bombarded with since this war began.

We are not being represented on a national scale, and our votes--for the most part--serve few other purposes than to decide whose pockets are going to be lined while dancing around the truth.

It's time we got someone with some balls into Washington.
